Medical Center Psihikou joined the Athens Medical Group in October 1997, in order to ensure, in another densely populated area in the heart of Athens, the possibility of direct access to medical services and hospital care, of high standards,  as guaranteed by the Group.

By modernizing the facilities, providing state-of-the-art medical equipment, selecting experienced, specialized and well-trained scientific, nursing and administrative staff,
by restructuring the entire system of hospital care, another model hospital unit was created that provides quality health services to the residents of the wider area.

The doctors who work with the Clinic are of high scientific prestige, as indicated by their long tenure in internationally recognized centers abroad and in Greece, as well as by their academic titles. They cover all specialties, and are on 24-hour standby.

Medical Center Psihikou, having set the quality of the services provided as the primary purpose of its operation, in 2004, certified the neuralgic department of the Intensive Care Unit according to ISO 9001: 2000.

Medical Center Psihikou has 119 beds, 6 excellently equipped operating rooms and a versatile Intensive Care Unit of 10 beds, staffed by experienced, trained medical staff ready to safely receive even the most difficult cases, ensuring a high level of care. Its laboratory and diagnostic equipment is complete, state-of-the-art, suitable for performing even the most specialized examinations. The well-equipped wards guarantee complete medical support in terms of diagnosis and treatment.
