Georgios Androulakis was born in Athens in 1962 and he went to the Italian School of Athens, followed by a degree in Medicine from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1988. He is fluent in English and Italian.

He started his specialisation in Pathology at the 2nd Clinic of Pathology of 401 General Military Hospital of Athens. At the same time and for two and a half years in total he worked as on-call doctor at the 1st Clinic of Pathology of D.T.C.A. ‘HYGEIA’ under the direction of Pathology Professor V. Aggelopoulos.
This was followed by the compulsory medical service in a rural region (Agrotiko) after which he completed his Pathology specialisation at the 2nd Clinic of Pathology of the University General Hospital of Thessaloniki ‘G. Papanikolaou’.
Professional experience
Since 1997 he has a private practice as an Internist, working in parallel at the therapy units for the pharmaceutical treatment of substance dependence of OKANA (Organisation Against Drugs).
Since the start of operation of the Interbalkan Medical Centre in Thessaloniki (2000) Dr. Georgios Androulakis works as Head of Department OF on-call Pathologists and since 2002 as an Associate of Gastroenterology-Pathology Professor E. Akriviadis, offering at the same time medical counsel in cases of other disciplines.
He has a multitude of publications in Greek and foreign journals as well as participation in Medical Conferences and Seminars.
